Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain of The US female Olympic gymnastics the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as in 2016. In 2016, she was part of the Final Five. Aly Raisman won three gold medals in the 2012 Olympics at London. Additionally, she brought home a bronze on the balance beam. This made her an the only American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to win the most medals. In the 2016 Olympics she was awarded a gold medal for the team event, which brought her along with her teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having been the first Americans to earn back-to-back gold medals for the team. Silver medals were awarded in the individual floor and all-around events. Between the two Olympics she took off from competitive gymnastics for three years. Additionally, she was part of the gold-winning American teams in the two World Championships. Her most favorite sport is flooring exercise. She started learning gymnastics when she was two years older. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group to honor her late grandmother. Aly plans on pursuing an occupation as a designer. The next goal she has is expanding her trademark collection of leotards. She's writing a book entitled Fierce to be published at the end of this year.
